SOCIAL EVENINGS
Hawkins Arms, Probus, 7.30.
We have regular social evenings on the last Wednesday of each month, currently at Hawkins Arms, Probus, 7.30. These are simply social evenings where we drink and chat about anything. It's just an excuse to have a regular night in the pub! Some of these evenings will incorporate discussions about particular topics such as 3D Printing, laser cutting, building topics etc. Any particular subject will be listed here. We also invite members' wives who are welcome to join us at these evenings.

SOUTH WEST AREA GLIDER COMPETITION
June 6th and September 5th.
Truro round of the competition, held at our club field.

INTERCLUB SUMMER FLY-IN
Sunday 7th June (reserve date Sunday 14th)
Friendly local club get-together to share flying fun and chit chat. This event is open to local clubs. BMFA and CAA regulations apply for all pilots. This is NOT a competition, but an informal "get together" where we can just fly together and exchange chit chat.
THERE WILL BE A PILOT BRIEFING AT 10.00
There will be about four flying "slots" arranged for particular models, such as scale, WW1 bi-planes, helicopter, glider towing, RES gliders etc, but these will be separated by general flying so everybody will get the chance to fly, whatever type of model you bring.
There will be toilet facilities on site. There won't be any food vans or catering so please bring packed lunch. The event is for BMFA pilots. We DO NOT have a permit for models over 7.5kg so bear this in mind. You CAN bring and fly them, but please keep below 400ft as per BMFA/ARTICLE 16 regs. Our club rules will also apply. You can fly ic or electric. Note: NO JET TURBINES.
Car parking will be in the main field along the hedge from the main gate.
WEATHER: We have a back-up date of SUNDAY 14th. Please keep an eye on your emails just in case we need to cancel or change the day.
